SLINgshot VR
Throw yourself into VR

Slingshot VR is about using a slingshot in a futuristic world in VR.
You play as a subject locked in rooms by scientists where you have to use your slingshot to teleport and solve enigmas.
You will be guided during all the experimentation with comments from the scientist who are watching your actions, laughting and making jokes abouts how bad you are.
This project was made in 2 months by a team of 4 : Quentin Delmas, Erwann Pottier, Valentin Debusshere and myself.
I took the technical role in this project. I made all the blueprints of the project. That was my first experience in unreal engine 4 and also in VR.
We had a simple word as constraint : "instinct".
Our game has to be easily understandable. With only a simple glimpse, you had to know what to do and how.
We chose a slinshot as our main mechanic and as the only way of moving in the level. You only need to shoot once to understand.



This project made me learn a new engine.
I am really proud of what we have done in 2 months with no knowledge of the engine at the begining but the game has obvious flaws.
With the feedback we got we were confident with our main mechanic but the rest was kinda lacking so i decided to take the project as a personal projet (with the agreement of my colleagues ) and work on it.
We are now using this project and its main mechanic as a base for our diploma project : Warp'Shot
